Fewer 2023 Allocations?

I found it difficult to find a dealer with an allocation. I did find one in MI and have received a Customer Order Verification from Ford Programs to the Dealer with my name and the Order Verification Status as Approved with an Authorization Number. Hopefully, this bodes well. I assumed that the 22 Carryover was affecting the 23 allocations. It will be interesting... I've seen quite a few of the Ford Lightning's on the lots around here; none appear to be moving off the lot.

I’ve been told by acouople Ford employees, that the dealerships have to keep their first lightning for 6 months and use as a demo vehicle.
