Factory tailgate camera to aftermarket harness???

2011 with integrated tailgate camera.

tailgate is exiting to make way for bed mounts, but I’d like to keep a rear view camera.
isnthere a clean way to adapt an aftermarket camera (like a license plate mount) to the factory harness.

i was able to do it with the Lock Pick device. I think you can do it with NavTV as well and from what i hear the NavTV is a lot better. google either of those and you'll find the products. lock pick was a little tricky to set up but basically plug and play. I should mention that mine was a 2011 with no factory cameras but i was able to use a license plate mounted one. I also hooked up a front facing camera as well and i think i could have done side cameras that activate with the turn signals too but never tried that.
