good luck, another nice thing about the mirror mounts/taps is that you can install the mounts in multiple cars and move one radar detector around in about 3 seconds.

ah poo... the owners manual is incorrectly indicates passenger fuse panel #35 (5 amp) as the Drive Mode fuse... this is actually a BCM fuse (found using Ford's VIN specific Workshop Manual) which was BLOWN and once replaced solved my issue. I got all worked up for nothing...

I have my detector now mounted using a homemade aluminum bracket I put some simple S-bends to squeeze into the headliner... wired to #5 upfitter switch using the pass-through wires. Very cool my friends, exactly what I wanted to do...
