For a broken connecting rod or seized engine any 6.2l short block would have worked, you just move over your top end. The bottom end is essentially identical in every 6.2l from 2010-current. This is a great way to go, since an engine from an unknown source really should be broken down to the short block and inspected before install. Also the complete shortblock is available, brand new from ford with a warranty for as little as $1700. Your dealer can get it, PN AL3Z-6009-A
