This worked for me :

But as others said its likely ghosting in the tint from UV rays.

Probably bad luck as the previous owner parked it religiously facing north so the south facing window had countless hours facing direct sun with the Pats logo on it.

Down here in the south, the sun rises and sets east to west, which is why I thought they had the time zones set the same way. The things we learn on Raptor forums! However, we'd sell the truck if it didn't have a fleur de lis ( Who Dat Saints). Guessing thatJeepguy lives in NORTH GA. :) Interesting post however, and apparently not a dumb question at all.

South facing windows catch the sun on its ecliptic at all times . Has nothing to do with where I live. If you’ver ever been snowboarding/ ski in the back country you try to stay clear of the shadowy north face. Its very unkind.

sadly the tint is probably faded around where the sticker was.. and i dont think the center window is serviced seperate from the whole back glass..

one of my side rear windows had a similar thing from a sticker.. i used an orbital buffer with a foam pad and adams compound and never saw it again..

id try a buffer, and then seal it with rain x or adams glass sealant which is basically the same thing
agreed.

however, if the sticker was on the outside of the window and the tint on the inside, no amount of compounding will sort it out. might have to retint...

After looking at it over the past several months, I'm leaning in this direction. I like the factory tint level and don't want to go too dark, so I might have a local tint shop just the the back window at the lightest option.

Cerium Oxide Or an optical grade polish will remove almost anything from scratch, wax , sticker glue . A little on a microfiber towel or pad for cleaning light residue or a power tool for heavy buildup or scratches. Getting contamination off the glass is the key to clear glass . Just use distilled water or add a drop soap to maintain it .

I would try to put some rainX on it and the rest of the window. Maybe the window had the sticker before being rainX coated. You can’t clean it off because nothing is there, maybe it needs an additive. Whatever is in the RainX also cleans and seals like nothing else.
