It's the way my supplier offers it. Some people might want 2 brackets you never know.

What I got was two end cap brackets I don't see how you could use more than two. Mine does work perfect I put guns in it all the time..

Which one are you talking about?
The Tote or the Humpstor?
The Tote the bracket is separate but the Humpstor comes with the brackets.
With the Tote some people don't need/want the brackets they could just lay it in the bed or strap it down with bungee cords or have 2 brackets that you can place in your pick-up or your SUV which ever you choose to take hunting or camping.
