GEN 1 Drivers side parking light does not go on after HID headlight install. ???

I just installed a set of HID headlights and everything went one pretty straight forward but when I put the lights on, the drivers side parking light does not stay on. The passengers side works fine, it stays on. Whats weird is that when I use the key fob to open and close the truck, the amber light flashes. Any ideas what it could be?

old question but I had a similar issues now also so maybe some help for you. the dealer can reset the BCM by clearing a DTC code. no idea what any of that shit means I am reading info on recipe,lol. I just did that same thing on passenger side also the rest worked perfect. but the driving amber lights in grill are still off and ten was gone so I am sure there another BCM to clear.

You can clear BCM DTCs using Forscan.
