Driver's Door Handle Key Hole

Is the key hole one the driver's side door handle supposed to have a plug? Mine doesn't, yet the "orientation" guy at the dealership mentioned that I'd have to pull a plug to get to the key hole.

Since they don't have another for me to check against, I figured I'd check here.

I believe he's referring to a hidden plug beneath one of the cup holders to place your key fob in case the battery in it dies....allowing the truck to be able to be driven

I don't think the start button pops off. If your fob dies I think you're supposed to put it in the hole under the front cupholder to start it.
