Drive Modes / Exhaust Modes Pros and Cons

Hey Gents, interested to hear what people are using and when. And also how this is impacting performance v gas mileage.

- Are you setting your exhaust to Baja everywhere you go? Seeing any impact to your gas mileage?
- What are you using around town vs freeway vs off-road?

Interested in hearing your results / feedback!

When I am in the truck by myself, it is Sport mode and Baja exhaust. When the wife is in the car it is in Normal mode. Can't comment on the gas mileage differences as I don't really pay attention to that. I get like 14 - 15 mpg overall. I have 35s, not 37s.

Yeah, its a bummer it doesn't default to previous settings after turning the truck off.

Which I believe is what R mode is for in MY22. Once available, I hope to buy the MY22 steering wheel and use FORSCAN to enable R mode on MY21 but time will tell if its possible.

FWIW - I rarely remember to change exhaust or drive mode. But when I do I usually use sport / with Baja exhaust. Haven't even gone through the first tank of gas, so mileage TBD.

when I drive to work and back its in steering (comfort). exhaust (quiet) and normal drive mode. the rest of the time its sport (manual) and Baja exhaust

I think that’s called Jakel and Hyde mode.

I drive mine in quiet mode. Mainly because it doesn’t exist yet

R mode is pretty nice. When we’re on the freeway I use sport and quiet. In town R mode an Baja.
