The answer to OPs original question is simple...

    1. At least 50% of Raptors came with the standard “alloy” wheels... 2017’s, 18’s and 19’s. Not an attractive rim (although 19’s better than 17-18’s).

    2. The 17-18’ bead locks are also not that attractive, but at least it’s a bead lock... and they represent about 33%.

    3. The 19’ bead locks are the best looking factory wheel, but are limited to a small percentage of Raptors at this time... let’s call it 17%.

So... about 83% of Gen 2 Raptors are subject to changing the factory wheel... maybe half of them do?

They look like they were designed for the remake of the movie Tron, but were so ugly they were discarded and never made the movie. Then in late 2016, after having a year off, some lazy Ford engineer realized his forged rim design was due and instead of making a last ditch effort to meet the deadline, he stole the blueprints from the studio. In late 2018, that engineer was fired and the beautiful 2019 upgrade was created.

You guys know these are not headlock rims as issued, right? They are not beadlocks until the owner purchases and installs the beadlock rings from Ford Performance.

I personally like the 17-18 beadlock better than the 19 beadlock but both look decent. I also think it is awesome that Ford puts wheels capable of being converted on the truck at all - I went through the effort to convert mine.

Agree with most people that the base wheels look a bit on the plain side and don't quite fit the character of the rest of the truck, especially on certain colors.
