crossovers

quick question , I have a 5 channel amp ,front component set of speakers ,rear coax ,and a sub ,the front use a passive crossover that I used ,does it matter what I set the crossover on the amp ,since its already being filtered by the passive crossovers , meaning is the amps setting being trumped ,by the passive crossovers .

Yes, adjust the amp and listen to the difference it makes.

What I did was disconnect the sub and rear speakers , then I could really tell the the difference . 60-70 hpf seems to sound the best .same setting for the sub as well with the lpf.
