Hey guys, i scored a deal on a pair of Morel Hybrid Integra speakers for the rear doors. The problem is i need to use a crossover since they have separate connections for the tweeter and woofer. So my options are attaching the crossover to the door or trying to get another speaker wire through the door boot. It looks like i could mount the crossover over the access hole on the inner door skin and not have it contact the door panel. I’d have to fab a plate to mount it on but that’s easy. I’ve had them in the door in previous vehicles and they tend to corrode so ideally I’d like it in the cab but not sure how hard it will be to get an extra speaker wire in there. Any suggestions? I guess I’m going to have some pretty expensive speakers in the door so maybe it’s not a big deal to have the crossover there too?
