My ceramic guy pointed out to me that my windshield had a crack in it. I never noticed the crack, you have to look in the angle to see it. What’s weird about the crack that it’s not from outside. It’s from inside the glass so u can’t feel it. I have no idea if the truck was delivered like that and I just never notice, or it happen in later time.
I wonder if dealer will cover under the warranty. Truck is 2019 and I got 27k miles on it.

anyone had same issue?

Glass is tough to get covered. Good luck though.

pretty hard for you to have done that, they should cover it, probably a tiny crack at the edge that ran over time

You would of noticed that before, if you wash your truck by hand, well i would of anyway. Probably have to use your glass deductible if you have one.

I'd ignore it. No one will notice, it's not a safety hazard, and it will get fixed when you replace the windshield due to some other problem down the road.

Looks like an internal stress crack to me. It isn't real common, but it does happen in windshields as they are glued to the structure and stressed as such. Sort of like a sunroof or side window spontaneously cracking into thousands of pieces. Check the warranty pamphlet because some of these types of faults are covered.

I know it is just a picture on the internet and would probably look different in person, but this spot looks like it could have been a rock strike.

I had a "technician" at a state inspection facility crack a windshield and not tell anyone. When my wife went to pick up the vehicle, the manager said it failed due to broken windshield! Wife looked at it and said No Fu*king Way it was like that before it was brought in. We're not idiots, there was ~8" shattered area at the base of the windshield. No way we would even take it in with that crap.

After I had a chance to get to the shop, I inspected the big crack and found the initiation point on the inside of the glass. While scraping off the old sticker, the goon jammed the scraper tool down into the dash/windshield junction and the contact pressure on the inside cracked the glass big time. Manager stepped up to pay for it no problem. The goon didn't last long. He was a real nice guy, but about 350lbs and clumsy, so...
