My guess is that the Raptor has very different wiring harnesses for Nav and non-Nav.

I'm also interested in FSM's assessment...

Here is what I found....

OASIS MESSAGE :
REPLACING THE STOCK AUDIO SYSTEM WITH A REGULAR PRODUCTION OPTION
NAVIGATION/SIRIUS/SYNC AUDIO SYSTEM IS NOT RECOMMENDED OR SUPPORTED ON ANY FORD,
MERCURY OR LINCOLN VEHICLE. HOWEVER GENUINE FORD ACCESSORY KITS TO INSTALL SYNC
ARE AVAILABLE FOR CERTAIN MODEL LINES. REFER TO FMCDEALER/ ACCESSORIES, FOR THE
APPLICABLE KIT PART NUMBER. A DEALER INSTALLED FORD WORKS SOLUTIONS IN-DASH
COMPUTER KIT WITH NAVIGATION IS AVAILABLE FOR CERTAIN E-SERIES, F-SERIES AND
TRANSIT CONNECT VEHICLES. REFER TO FMCDEALER/ACCESSORIES/OFFICIAL LICENSED
PRODUCT/FORD WORK SOLUTIONS, FOR THE APPLICABLE KIT PART NUMBER

I have not found that the Ford Work Solutions is suitable for the Raptor but have not gotten a concrete answer yet. I certainly do not feel that the Navigation system is a Plug-n-Play. I believe it could be done, but the cost would be astronomical even compared to the factory option.

What are the guy overseas, and had trucks exported, and had nav, doing in their trucks IF it’s true that the OEM nav system software outside the continent isn't available and had after market navs installed? I know there was a guy showing his nav installed on the other forum just can't get back on over there there to investigate. Just asking.

I would not buy the Nav if I were overseas...

That works soloution is an interesting idea... if you can get some windows ce compatible nav software you should be golden.
