Great pics as always, John. Those Chollas are a nasty staple of the Az desert too. In my dirt bikin days, I used to keep a comb and needle nosed pliers with me just for those "close encounter of the worst kind" occasions. Lots of old abandoned mines here too. I can't imagine how hard a days work was beating on the side of a mountain for those old prospectors to hopefully strike it rich.
