No. The cam phaser recalibration has nothing to do with the transmission.

When the PCM is recalibrated all of the adaptive tables are reset. The PCM will take a couple hundred miles to relearn.

Copy that thank you. Just took it on some dirt trails near my house and sport mode is great for that. Higher RPM and and more touchy acceleration = lots a fun on dirt roads and trails.

Mine was in for service and in the notes it says it was updated. And now when I shift into drive it slams into gear! ***!
Was the transmission computer reset as well?

Is there a way I can reset it myself? Will it learn to not slam into gear? It was perfect before all this.
