Are you assuming this, or do you know the old part number ended with "C" ? My truck was in the shop when the new SSM 48053 came out.

Booth is correct. The original intake phaser part number ended in "C". The revised part number ends in "CD".

Got mine back today. Rattle is gone. Service notes say they did the PCM calibration. The Stock file I downloaded with my ngauge is the same size and has the same modified date as the original. Not sure what to make of that. Has anyone confirmed that calibration is actually different? I also sent it to MPT so they can confirm my tunes are safe to re-apply.

it sounds like they didn't update your tune to the latest calibration

on oct 10 I posted, the latest PCM calibration was JL3A-12A650-AYJ

maybe someone can chime in if this is still the latest, and/or the calibration they're getting w/ the lastest cam phaser update
