Makes perfect sense that cost could rise in 8 months. A lot of factors can change. Restocking inventory at an increased manufacturing cost. Perhaps their installs took a bit longer on past trucks and they decided to up the install cost. You can't wait 8 months and expect to get the quoted price for anything in any business.

Have you asked them yet? What was their response why they were only adding $100 to materials and more to labor and dunk time? A lot of companies I deal with will add more labor and less on parts to save me some money on taxes. Seems like you're getting a good deal regardless....best one I've seen.
