I went with the K & N because I don't want to buy another one and plan to reuse it. It was pretty pricey. My guess is that it might outlast my 3.5 EB and/or my tranny. My guess is that the Bosch filter likely works well if you want a "throw away filter" but who the hell really knows. I was going to try my old gym socks but thought that I would splurge a little. Any vendors on the site with a recommendation?

The only brands available at the local part stores around here are Napa Gold and Car Quest. I ended up buying a Motorcraft from an online dealer.
