Ok, so we're a dealer for Burger Motorsports- but we work on BMW's.
So, when this came out I was interested.
We had a customer who owns a raptor bring in his truck and we'd pop one in.

They originally sent out a "stg1" which was to get some feed back- that's what this was, and then released the "JB4" which is what we normally put on BMW's. It uses OBD CAN communication to feed the JB4 with more information.

so, this is a guide on how to install it, plus if you wanted to put the optional bluetooth module on it, so it can talk to your phone. We use this heavily on BMW's to do data logging- its much faster than using BMW software. The application works good, doesn't have bloat or bullshit in it, and flat out works.

So this is the JB4, the bluetooth module, and the OBD CAN cable you need to install.

So, pop this cover apart. It just snaps open/closed. Easy. The bluetooth module steals a little power off of the voltage going to the sensors-
You'll need to use the supplied T-taps to gain access to those pixies.

Green CAN wire goes in to pin 2
Brown CAN wire goes in to pin 15
If you need to know for the OBD stuff

So, run the power to the BT adapter, and put it back together again.

First off, open the truck and hood, and put your keys away from the truck. Let it sit for about 15 minutes.

So how i did it, was I popped this rubber plug back, and ran the ribbon cable thru here. Plug it into the OBD port.
Put the JB4 near the batter here.
Simply unplug and connect the JB4 in line with the plugs on the front MAP sensor going into the throttle, and on top of the intake.
Then, connect the OBD connector, and kinda run it across the top of the engine bay.

    *THATS IT*
    Takes about 20 minutes.

BMS released firmware again for it. It's super easy with the JB4 app.
To hook up to it on android, pair the BT to your phone, and open the application. you'll have to go to settings, and set connection to BT. connect, and then you can update the firmware via your phone.

If my install guide is too difficult, here's theres :D http://www.burgertuning.com/instructions/f150_install.pdf

Here's the different maps for it

    JB4 Map Guide:

    Map0: Fully disable JB4
    Map1: 4psi peak over stock
    Map2: 5psi peak over stock
Map4: Stock map with JB4 CANbus active for logging
    Map5: 6psi peak over stock
Map6: User adjustable by RPM map on user adjustment page, values are peak boost over stock by RPM under heavy throttle.

BTW new firmware has been updated to put the rainbow colored connector on the intake manifold, and the brown wires to the front charge pipe MAP sensor. Apparently it gives a smoother transition. This customers was originally put in the other way (as suggested originally) but we'll be swapping and updating their firmware for them.

If it's so easy to install, why is your hand bleeding?

I have had multiple BMWs tuned with JB4s. Never with any hiccups and always with excellent results and product support.
