Bumpers Sprayed w/ Line-X?

As luck would have it the little rubber trim between the bumper and the headlights has rubbed through to the metal (see pics below), so instead of paint I’m thinking Line-X. Has anybody sprayed their factory bumper with bed liner? I’ve seen the skid plate, but not the whole bumper.

my rear bumpers look like shit..because I bump them against the wall every time I park. only way the truck fits in the garage. I think line-x would be a great idea

Personally I would use some touch up paint and then cover that area with some PPF and be done with it.

I'd try paint first like RDFTS suggested.
Line-X looks great in truck beds and wheel wells. It doesn't look good on exterior body parts and bumpers. YMMV

Ford dealership just called and said they are going to warranty the bumper and have it repainted.

I’m going to hold off on the Line-X for now.

This was my last truck, a 2012 Power Wagon. I had Line-X on the front/rear bumper, rocker panel, rock rails, grill, headache rack, and a little on the hood.

They did mine same way. They should put clear tape underneath moulding.
I took my fogs out first because I didn’t want them to mess them up.
