    Massachusetts / New England Area Resources

    Hi, All,

    I've searched and haven't found much good intel on Boston area services and supplies preferred by Raptor owners. It may be there simply aren't any.

    If any owners in the area had opinions on, say,

    1. Who best to dynotune my truck to optimize for the current aftermarket headers, exhaust and cold-air intake;

    2. A brushless, track-free car wash in which the truck actually fits and won't be damaged, for these bleak mid-winter months; or

    3. Some other service that a forum vendor can't readily supply

    I would be all ears.

    Thanks for your time.

    Thanks for the ESP recommendation. I left them a message.

    I am in the Peoples' Republic, so the Primrose car wash chain probably won't work as a quick wash solution.

    To expand on this, does anyone know of any good workshops in the area? Particularly a frame horn cut for bumper installation and some suspension mods.

    Thanks,
    K

    My very close friend is starting up a dedicated off-road / fabrication shop, Barn Off-Road. He is Located in Lincoln RI. He has been doing small fabricating projects for years now and has recently gotten a hold of all the tools needed to take on bigger projects. He will be doing my front/rear bumpers, tire cage, and other odds and ends soon. Fully capable of installs as well.

    Here is some of his recent work. Fully Caged ZJ designed by the customer and him. Right now he is towards the tail end of the project, left is making the rear tube frame, rear X brace, and tire carrier. After all the tube work is complete there will be sheet metal work to fill in the spaces left from necessary cuts made for the design.

    Follow-up Question: who in the greater Boston area offers Tig or Mig welding services for an exhaust system?

    I would be bringing a stainless Helmholtz resonator pipe with me in hand. I would like the shop to cut the hole in the existing stainless exhaust system and Tig/Mig weld the resonator pipe in. Seems like this would be a simple ask, but the usual suspect (Lou's Waltham?) doesn't seem to have facility with this, at least over the phone, and has no weekend hours.

    Thanks for the help.
