After a long wait and a lot of tire-kicking, I've finally got the keys to my own 2020 Ford Raptor. Starting my build thread here as thanks to FRF, I've got quite a few parts on the way and we're going to get the truck completely dialed in rather quickly. I don't really %&* around on these types of builds and want to get it completely set up the way I want as soon as possible so expect quite a few updates incoming. 2020 Ford Raptor 38k Miles with Ford Extended Warranty - Paid $70k before T&L for those interested (12/21) Rapid Red Metallic on Black 802A Carbon Fiber Moonroof Tailgate Step Previous builds: -Porsche C4S -Porsche GT3 -Audi R8 -Old Tow Rig: Nissan Titan Primary Uses: -Daily Driver -Backcountry Hauler (Camping, Mountain Biking, Snow) -Race Tow Rig (24' Aluminum Featherlight) -Road Tripper Incoming Parts List: Engine: Power Commander (will remove when Cobb Tuned) Roush Cold Air Intake Roush Catback Exhaust CVF Titan Intercooler + Pipes AMS Inlet Tubes Cobb Accessport +TCM Mishimoto Trans Bypass Mishimoto Trans Cooler Mishimoto Oil Can Mishimoto Radiator Mishimoto Expansion Tank Wheels/Tires: New K02s (12/21 at 38k miles) Enkei RPT1 Wheels Alcon 6-pot Front Calipers and Slotted Rotors Alcon Rear Slotted Rotors Stainless Brake Lines Castrol SRF Suspension: Eibach Front Springs Deaver +3HD Leafs SVC Bump Stops w/Fox Truck Bed: RSI Smartcap BuiltRight Bed Goods Shovel, Jack, etc Lights: Morimoto Headlights Baja Designs Sportsmen Fogs Baja Designs S8 Center Grill Baja Designs X6 Lower Grill Baja Designs S2 Reverse Lights Baja Designs Sport A-Pillars LED License Plate Lights Interior: 67 Designs Arm/Mounts on BuiltRight Base Carlinkit 3.0 Wireless Carplay Rear Underseat Tray Dash Cam of some sort Appreciate everyone's experience and guidance as I work through this, there are almost too many parts available for this truck. What about a whinch? Only problem is then you need a front mounted IC which means no S8 light.

Very nice build by the way, I have a lot of mods still to install and am saving up to do much of what your doing.

Had issues with transmission so I'm trying to make sure my new one is good to go prior to installing mods, $$$$$$.

Morimoto XB Headlights Installed. These are friggin awesome.

Install was pretty simple with one miss, hardwiring the DRLs. The provided kit had the wrong fusebox wire (2020 problems) so I used a relay spliced and soldered into the passenger corner marker (blue wire) as the switch.

Highlights:
-4x projectors. The new model is Bi-LED which is why you see all 4 turned on in the photos. That's the low beams, not highs. Much better beam pattern and spread, it's insanely better than stock. And yes, I do use all of these lights lol.
-Sequential or standard turn signal
-Super bright DRL (I chose amber but you can also get white I think)

Big thanks to @4x4TruckLEDs.com! I'm super happy with these.

My buddy recommended it to me and it works pretty well. Here’s the link

Your phone connects to it via Bluetooth on startup and it automatically starts CarPlay wirelessly. I leave it in the front of the shifter console box using one of of the usb ports

Price and level of difficulty for the DRLs? Also, any before or after night photos?

I ordered the Morimotos from @4x4TruckLEDs.com - Shipped quickly and got here fast.

Order the Raptor correct model and choose your options. For install, swap the harness for the Raptor LED with a few screws.

Wiring was pretty simple for the DRLs but takes a bit of effort. The LED system is isolated so you can’t run a constant ground on a relay if you’re using one of them (front or rear side markers) as a switch.

-You’ll splice into both wires coming from the passenger side marker in the loom just behind the passenger headlight. This will be used to create a switch with the relay.
-Splice two wires from the side marker: One wire spliced into positive (blue wire) and one for negative (black with white stripe).
-Run the wires up above through the cavity in the passenger front fender to the fuse box.
-Run the DRL wire (single) from the headlight loom to the same area
-Wire a 5a fused wire off the battery terminal

Using a 4-pin relay
30 - Fused 5a wire to battery positive
85 - Ground (black wire) from Side Marker
86 - Positive (blue wire from Side Marker
87 - DRL wire

Normally, you would ground 85 however that will cause a draw from the sidemarker LED loop that will trigger a "charging system" warning. Ask me how I know lol.

Don't have a before photo but the left is the new Morimoto beam at 30’. Projectors are awesome.

Right is everything on about 75’ away. It’s bright.

With the change to the Mishimoto trans cooler, needed to top off the transmission by adding fluid as both the cooler is a lot larger and I needed to account for the lost trans fluid from the swap. Clunky shifts were noticeable even though I've been barely driving the truck until this was addressed.

The problem is the only way to check and fill is to remove the transmission shield and measure via the small, hard to get to, highly inconvenient dipstick. All with the engine running and the trans at full temp. I'm really surprised this was setup this way.

Installed a B&M (22200) dipstick today to make checking and adding fluid much easier from the topside of the engine.

This video from CJ Off-Road helped quite a bit and we're back to normal shifts again.

Also added these OEM-style foglight covers. They attach with 3M tape and appear to be pretty stout. The foglights are mounted with Baja's theft deterrent screws and added as additional prevention. Seattle is a weird place.

Shipping delays are a real thing but a lot of the parts are here and ready to go.

Testing this weekend revealed I am in the "needs a new alternator" camp. The charging system warning sporadically pops up at startup and off and on during driving.

I would do all the wrenching on these but my scissor lift doesn't make this easy thanks to the size and height of my garage. Some things are better left to the pros.

Will be taking the truck to the race shop where a lot of the work on mine and many others performance cars/race cars/etc gets done - Group 2 in Woodinville, WA. If you don't know the place, these guys are awesome and I've been working with John and the crew for years.

Ready for installation:
-Roush Catback Exhaust
-CVF Titan Intercooler + Pipes
-AMS Inlet Tubes
-Cobb Accessport +TCM
-Mishimoto Trans Bypass
-Mishimoto Radiator
-Mishimoto Expansion Tank

Suspension:
-Eibach Front Springs

Wheels/Tires:
-Enkei RPT1 Wheels
-Alcon 6-pot Front Calipers and Slotted Rotors
-Alcon Rear Slotted Rotors

Still waiting on:
-Goose Tune (Will remap after a few miles with Cobb)
-SS Brake Lines (Backordered everywhere)
-Deaver +3HD Leafs
-SVC Bump Stops w/Fox
-RSI Smartcap (May 22?)
