Wife wants two E bikes. (Pedego) Need recommendations for a sturdy easy to use rack for them. Receiver or in bed is good. Thanks in advance.

No help here, @Motorman, I just like your avatar. It's my personal favorite EDC. Cheers.

look up 1upusa hands down the best rack out. Not cheap but will not break. Have had mine for almost 7 years zero issues. no plastic parts at all.

1up or Kuat. I went with the 1Up. Solid and extremely easy to use.

100% backing the 1up hitch rack. American made through and through with superlative build quality, just like your truck. Plus, not having to lug an E-Bike in and out of your bed will be ideal.

I also have the 1UP rack. I recommend it. But it can be a bit of a PIA to use. Especially with two bikes. The bolts are a bit of a pain, bolting the second rack to the first. They are quite heavy to handle also.

If the bikes you are getting have fat tires, you will need to have the racks upgraded at the factory to handle the extra tire width.

And there are way better choices in ebikes than Pedego, such as Trek, and one company whose name escapes me that started on Kicktarter.

bolting the second to the first? Mine is a fixed two bike system.

Pick it up, slide it into the receiver. Tighten the bolt down to secure it with tool provided and you're done. Plenty of Youtubes showing how easy it is to use. It is a bit on the heavy side if you have back issues (46lbs).

When it comes to the bikes themselves, that's a whole different topic but my vote goes to the Specialized Turbo lineup. Hands down the best.

This is the one you'd want:

Mine are separate. So if only carrying one bike it’s one rack..
