Why did you have the extra piece that attaches to the rear bed bolts made for?

It's basically their vertical tire rack on their website, but I had them add an extension that lays across the rest of the bed and mounts to the bed bolts near the tailgate and bolts to the vertical tire rack that I can strap other things too like a cooler, etc. They were really easy to work with and did exactly what I wanted. I can remove the bed piece and just have the vertical rack if i need it. Pretty cool!!
