I installed the set of BD sport reverse lights I purchased. It took me about 2 1/2 hours to install lights, run harness and connect to #6 Upfitter switch.

First thing I did was remove the 10 mm nuts that hold the rear exhaust hangers so I could gain a little clearance by wedging a short 2x4 between the pipe and spare tire. This allowed me a little more room to work with the allen wrench to tighten the lights to the brackets.

Once I had the lights mounted I had to run the harness to the Upfitter switch wires on the passenger side of the engine compartment.
I used an electricians wire tape and ran it from the front to the rear through the passengers side frame rail. EZ PZ. I then pulled the harness after I connected it all together from the rear back to the front.
This took me all of about 15 minutes by myself.
I then had to find the wire for #6 Upfitter switch. As stated in other post the manual diagram is all wrong. I used a test light and pulled the factory wire caps off one by one until I found #6.
I didnt hard wire the harness to the upfitter wire because I may change to another switch depending on what other lighting I may ad. The bullet connector should be fine for now.
I hope my pictures show up. I would of much rather done a video but I had to do this project alone and I had my hands full with wire and a beer or two. LOL

Looks good. These things are pretty straightforward/easy to install. I love when folks grab the upfitter harness/extension wires and hook them to the upfitters. That's how I have my reverse lights hooked up (I'm running Squadron Pros). Normally my existing reverse are fine... need a lil more light... flip the upfitter.

Can you put a picture up? I have been wondering how the squadron would fit in the back, thats the way I was leaning.

looks good! I might go with that setup soon...can't find anything else that fits neatly in that space and throws a lot of light. Any pictures of them OFF vs ON in the dark against something?

I will try and get some pics and post up. They are pretty bright. I am sure nothing like the pros but I will mostly use them for backing up at night with my boat attached.
I have to squeeze through a narrow gate opening to get the boat in my yard and I have been known to take out a tail light or fender on the trailer now and then.

I like doing both. Mine are wired to a relay, when I throw it in reverse they turn on automatically, or I can throw the upfitter switch and use them anytime to hook my trailer up or whatever.

Can describe how the relay wiring is done? Tap into reverse light positive and the upfitter switch?
