does the MX4 on the raptor require drain tubes? I had the MX4 on my previous truck (not ford) and still leaked a bit

Also, is the F1 newer than the MX4?

It does have drain tubes.

Same dilemma... F1 or MX4??

Bought the F1, just unboxed and really want a more subtle (matte) look but am nervous about the aluminum getting destroyed during winter months.

Thread is old... Hoping someone can let me know how the MX4 held up.

Yes the MX4 requires drain tubes, but i simply cut a 4 inch piece of the tubes it came with and routed them into the small oval holes in my bed right next to the MX4 drains. Simple and worked like a champ this past few days it's been poring and no leaks.
