Finished up my triple bezel kit install from offroad alliance last night. Kit includes Baja Designs Squadron SAE Wide Cornering in Amber and White, as well as a Baja Designs S1 configured in Spot.
Initial impressions
Wide cornering were not as bright as I had hoped they would be. They seem to do an ok job of flooding left and right of the standard beam pattern, and have more light down range than expected. I used the nerf dart truck to get them level. Good news is test drive resulted in zero flashes from on coming traffic.
S1 spots are pretty impressive. Not as much down range as expected, but fills in where the standard high beams leave off. I’m definitely going to tap these into the auto high beams, just need to order the right relay with diode/fly back protection for the high beam circuit.
Here are the beam pattern for all of them. White balance is odd on the first shot.
Standard headlights
Standard headlights + white wide cornering
Standard headlights + Amber wide cornering
Standard high beams
Standard high beams + S1 Spot
