Baja Designs torque spec for bracket mounting bolts? LP4 / LP6 / LP9

Hi all,

Does anyone know the torque spec for the 1/4-20 bolts that mount the lp4/lp6/lp9 to the brackets? I am permanently mounting the center bolts and was hoping to get clarification if possible on torque specs.

Just wanted to provide an answer here for those with a similar question. I ended up looking up torque specs for 18-8 SS bolts, and two different charts recommended 6 ft lbs so that’s what I’ll be going with.

When I asked BD they told me 5-9 ftlbs is appropriate for those bolts. Same for xl80s

Tighten until it breaks, then back off a quarter turn.
