In the regional section but thought I would put it here for some more visibiity.

Looking to get some wheeling in before the weather changes for the worst.

I can do either weekend depending on interest.

Planning to be there around 10 since I will be leaving Indy around 8.

Trails are tight but not impossible, I managed to make just about every thing the jeeps did with minimal scratches. There is also the dunes area to play too. I have only been once but it was a pretty good day of wheeling.

Let me know what works for you.

Alright, you have got to love family, but I no longer have a commitment on the 4th! Lets go offroad!

Lets meet at 10am at

County Market

Larger parking lot and a gas station there, McDonalds across the street.

Here is the website for the Badlands. http://badlandsoffroad.com

Take aways, no alcohol, and you need a flag on the back of the truck. I use a cheap Amazon light bar mount drilled for the flag size and attach that to the grab bar on the tailgate. They do sell flags where you check in.

Cell coverage SUCKS on the park itself, so download any maps beforehand.

I would also recommend a co driver, its super helpful on the tighter sections to have somebody watching the passenger side.

Let me know how the timing looks and such.

Ended up rolling solo here but it was still a good time! Made a bunch of climbs in the dunes area and some more techinical onces the back dunes area. Found my way back to the quarry area, I wussed out on the tough way in but got in anyway. Made a pretty tight climb in the quarry, it took about 10 times getting out a checking, the moving a little and getting out again.

Lots of people out there and the Raptor always gets a good reaction as most people are shocked to see one in the dirt at all.
