Auto locks on Gen 3?

Is there a way to have the doors lock automatically after walking away without hitting the key fob? Gen 3

If you touch the spot on the door handle it will lock. Or if you press the bottom two buttons simultaneously on the numbered keypad, even without your fob, it will lock the doors.

other than that. I dont think it'll passively lock as you walk away.

No. Forscan might be able to enable it. I know its in the APIM but i havent ever dug into it. I know there would be more modules that would need changed.

It can be done through the ford pass app, but pulling your phone out is more work that hitting the key fob. But its nice if you walk away and forget or have your hands full.

I read that it works on the Mustang EV and possibly the lightning. You can also use your phone as a key on those.

If you have a Galaxy phone you can run a routine. I have it on mine works 95%. Need to be a bit techy!
