Hello all. I have given APR PERFORMANCE a chance to make this right and they have refused. Hanging on to their one year warranty. Paid over 1000.00 for their carbon fiber hood grill and side grills For my GEN 2. The hood grill is peeling and looks terrible. They will do nothing for me. They want me
to buy their terrible product for a 40% discount. They have also told be since I bought it from eBay they aren’t responsible. Even though it was bough through them. The quality isn’t good and they do not stand behind their product buyer beware of APR PERFORMANCE. APR PERFORMANCE.
the truck is well cared for and stored in side, there are nights where it is left out, but not enough to cause this. Very dissatisfied and disappointed they won’t help

Sucks they're not covering it. Sadly, I don't think I've ever had any carbon hold up well. Not even the OEM carbon on my old ISF. It did the same thing and it was a 4k package. It did at least last 5-6 years... I'm done with carbon!

Exactly this, CF isn't really known for it's durability in automotive environments/applications. Replaced so many obscenely priced CF parts of my family members GT3RS track car that it's an ongoing joke at this point, have to see if the weight savings "benefit" is really worth the cost and replacement costs as well.

very obvious an impact occurred.....doesnt matter what....CF is not durable...it is a risk you assume when you use it.

Sorry man...but this is 100% a you problem....they are doing you a favor with the 40% discount.

So the expectation here was that the vendor would provide a free replacement even though it's out of warranty? Is this a common occurrence with them? I could be wrong on this, but I tend to think a 40% discount means they aren't making any profit on the sale, but I have no idea what the margin is.
