I’ve read a few posts that ams boost tubes don’t really fit right on the 19-20s. It’s the last bolt on I need before I actually get a tune.

What’s the deal with them?

They do fit they are just a little harder to get on with the 19 and up. To take advantage of mods you really need to have a tune.

Ah I thought I read something about tubes not fitting on it.

After the boost tubes I’ll be getting a tune.

I have a full race Intake, cvf intercooler, 170tstat, spd turbo adapters and Downpipe currently

I have 3-4 customers with them on 19s, they are harder to get on because one hose is a tight fit but they do fit.

If you off road, the AMS Boost tubes do come off. Ask me how I know?

The tube that connects to the airbox is the problem. Since the fit isn't quite right, the clamp

cannot get a proper fit and it eventually come off. Not good when dirt and dust is flying

This picture is using the stock oem airbox which AMS "claims" to work fine. They need to redesign the tube to have a lip

on the end to allow the clamp to do its job. This has been happening since October 2019 with no solution from AMS.

Well that blows, I do go Offroad so I don’t need that happening...

Are their any other options out there for better boost tubes?

I put them on my '19 this past fall. The passenger side was a bitch and I had to take off the wheel to get my arms in, but in the end - it went in. Nothing is stretched or looks weird. It mated to a Cobb CAI and it's never disconnected.

I heard that AMS made their tubes with different material or technique or shape after it they were reported collapsing last summer. I haven't checked mine since install; I had hoped I had the improved ones. Eric- when did you get yours?

Bought mine in October...probably made from defective materials....I've reached out to AMS and they just offer to refund my $

I like the tubes just want them fixed so they stay on....lots of guys have had them slide off...even on street only trucks
