Hey guys! Thanks for all of the well wishes and input! I think I’ll point it out, but not make a huge deal out of it, it seems pretty common, we will see how it wears over time.

This is seen in the standard black leather seats, not sure about the recaros as they have more alcantera and probably don’t have the creases that the leather does.

Interesting, I will need to look at my seats.

My issue was a needed a windshield replacement and I feel it is not as quiet as the factory even though I had them use OEM Ford glass.

I have some minor bubbling on both of my brand new truck front seat cushions. Dealer finally agreed to order me new ones. I dropped my truck off this morning and dealer called and sent me pics of the new cushions delivered out of the box and they are absolutely horrible. I told them just throw them in the garbage as my cushions are much much better. So I think there is definitely a manufacturing flaw in the cushions. I’m going to leave it alone for the time being and see what happens.

All leather is wrinkled out of the box. That’s why you either steam them after install or let them iron out over time in the sun. I installed Katzkin myself in my last car and it took a few weeks before they looked smooth and taught.

I heard Ford didn’t use hog rings on these seats so maybe adding some would help? I don’t know if the seat cushions have the metal bars needed to attach them though.

Did you get the dealer to replace this for free? I can see in advance my dealer will not want to do anything about this.
Yes, they have had Ford authorize the repairs. After the first replacement, and hours in their shop the seat came with a big crease right off the bat, I refused delivery. Its in getting another set put on currently, hopefully will know by tomorrow if they can actually fix the issue.

Heat, steam, stretch. They all look crummy straight out of the box. Just like hardwood floors… need a little time to acclimate.
