Aluminum cam cover gaskets

I found some aluminum cam/ valve covers I couldn't pass up, so I'm going to need new gaskets. Rockauto has an early (up to 2011) and later version. Are the aluminum covers considered early production, meaning these are the gaskets I need to get?

i have been told the aluminium (for all you brits) makes your truck run hotter. thats why they switched to the plastic covers. "but at least you get shiny paint" were told as word for word.
