Alert when something happens to truck?

I thought I heard/saw that you can be alerted on your phone if something happens to your truck. How do I set this up? Is it through FordPass? do I need to have bluetooth always on my phone? Thanks

My ford pass app will alert my phone if the truck alarm goes off. I didn’t specifically set it up a certain way, just the default configuration. I don’t know if the 4G modem in the truck is on an introductory plan and will require a data plan subscription later like the satellite radio will.
