Decided to start a build thread for my truck since a bunch of people on different social media platforms were asking for some details on what I had done and how. Thought I would compile everything here for ease of reference.

My YouTube Channel for Videos http://www.youtube.com/alcoolaid

Instagram: http://instagram.com/arthurlam89

Quick story on why I decided to buy a Raptor:
My truck history before buying the Raptor includes a 7.3 Powerstroke F350, 6.0 Powerstroke F350 DRW, and a 6.4 Powerstroke F450. I stopped racing cars a couple years ago so I sold off my enclosed car hauler and decided to downsize on my truck.

Around a year before that, a couple of my friends were doing this "overland" camp thing with Toyota's where you put a tent on your car and drive around. Found it a bit odd at first, and originally wanted to get a Four Wheel Camper (FWC) for a truck with more payload capacity.

In the end, I decided to stray away from the FWC idea and thought I would get a Raptor and join the roof top tent craze for a more lightweight and simpler setup. This is how it all began and the ultimate goal is to enjoy the build process and hopefully be able to safely explore my backyard, British Columbia, Canada.

Friend of mine and I are heading down from Vancouver, BC to Moab from November 2, 2019 to November 17,2019 so hopefully I can get some things finished up quickly.

I'll try to document everything the best I can but here is my 2017 Shadow Black Ford Raptor.

Thanks to the guys at @KB Voodoo Fabrications aka MAX Modular for their ALUMAX 14" High Aluminum Bed Rack -58" length with their tonneau cover brackets. Works perfectly with my Pace Edwards Ultragroove (Going to have a bunch of pictures here because this area gets asked about a lot)

Tires should be here this week. Decided to try General Grabber X3's. If I don't like them I will return them and get some BFG KM3's. Tire size will be 35x12.5R17

I managed to get the stock springs off with the regular spring compressor but look at that flex!

Decided I didn't want to die yet so I went to my friends local shop, The Speed Syndicate, to use their wall mount spring compressor

Success!

This is how I accessed the top shock bucket nuts - make sure you torque everything to spec!

Special thanks to Adam @4x4TruckLEDs.com for hooking up some parts. Emailed a ton of the usual vendors for parts and lights but Adam came out with the best price, best customer service, and the transaction was easy and hassle free.

Ordered some ICON rear leaf springs but the distributor or shipping company somehow lost the add a leaf on one of the spring packs. Still waiting on a replacement.

My dual battery setup is still in progress right now but will consist of:
150A circuit breaker
Blue Sea Systems ML-ACR
2 AWG wire
Anderson SB175 connectors
Deutsch connectors
Group 65 AGM Deep Cycle (battery from another project)

Bracket idea cut out in cardboard (good friend of mine is going to draw it in CAD for me, cut it out on his plasma CNC, and make the bend(s) on his brake) Final product will be out of 1/8" aluminum
