Raptor Run in Afton Canyon THIS Saturday, November 13th
For those of us who aren't going to the Raptor Run in Chandler, AZ this weekend, we're doing a day trip to run the trails in the Afton Canyon/Mojave Road (trail) area.
We'll be meeting Saturday morning at the Shell gas station (used to be a Beacon station) at Rasor Road, exit 233, at 9AM and we'll be leaving when everyone's there or at 9:30AM whichever comes first.
Let me know by email if you're going to join us on this one-day trip. Call, email or text me on Saturday if your plans change or if you're running late.
Please bring plenty of water, lunch (we'll eat on the trail), and the usual essentials which typically include a first aid kit, full gas can, tow strap, toolbox, cooler, chairs, clothes, hiking boots, etc.

There is a Union 76 gas station at the Ghost Town Road exit off the 15 freeway. Calico 76, 35555 Ghost
Town Road , Yermo , CA 92398 1-760-254-3959 Ghost Town Road is exit 191. After exiting turn left if you’re coming
from Barstow turning onto Daggett-Yermo Road/Ghost Town Road . This Union 76 is open 24/7 and you can top off
your gas tank and gas cans there.
