So the grille trim molding surrounding the headlights is getting all chipped and starting to flake paint from some crappy cover up the dealership made to cover up some scratches, and im looking to replace them while having zero downtime on the truck.

Plan is to buy a replacement set of trim bezels

Part No: HL3Z17C755BPTM and HL3Z17C754BPTM

Have them Painted the color of the truck

Swap the old for the new... and thus no downtime of the truck sitting in a body shop for weeks waiting in cue.

but browsing through ebay i found this listing.

Anyone have any experience with these aftermarket parts? or should i spare the extra 150 bucks and just go OEM.

Thanks,

Almost a year, and it was in Colorado, I live in FL… I think the drive alone would be worth like 10 of those panels lol

No experience with those, but I would go with OEM. Why not just remove yours and give them to the body shop, they can color match those and pick them up when ready. No need to have two sets.
Truck will look funny while they're off but it might be a better solution.
