A start to my stereo upgrade

The Zen is on the opposite site of the amp board. Nothing but positive feedback on the sub setup… I will post a full review of the install (doing it myself) and how it performs.

I'd be a little concerned about the subs in the back seat, but that may be the best you can do for subs behind the seat with everything else also back there.

What concerns? The stock sub & amp gets replaced so what “everything else back there” do you speak of?

I'm no expert, but subs need volume and there isn't a ton of volume back there. Despite removal of stock sub and amp, I would want to put new amps and such under a seat or something, if I was putting a subs behind the seat.

This is a killer set-up for those who want their space under the seat. This is probably the best solution on the market for that. Is it going to compare to utilizing more space, no way. An underseat would outperform this, pulling your seat for larger subs would outperform that and doing a blow-through would probably outperform that. It's priorities and everyone's is different. Now if he isn't using the space under the seat and bass is a priority, he just wasted money.

Agreed. I had a stereo shop build a fiberglass box behind my seat in my 2018 that housed 2 8" subs. It was by no means cheap, and it sounded good....but not good enough. Next setup will have to be a couple of 10's or 12's under the seat.
