what a game!
And AFTER they gave LSU’s head coch the gatorade bath at the end of the 4th quarter. Inadvertant downing of the ball by Kellen Mond (Aggie QB) that would have been an interception... then the clock running out (but didn’t) with the spike... That led to a TD with zero seconds on the clock!
And that crazy Aggie TD in 3rd OT...
Hell of a game by Burrows (LSU QB) though
Still...146 (!) points!
4 and 1/2 hour game... man I’m beat just watching for that long!
Finished watching my Irish finish off the University of Spoiled Children, then heard about the LSU/ A&M game... We don't get the SEC channel so we clicked around the TV and online for updates. Wow. Incredible game. This is the (main) reason I love college football.
Blown away by that game! Glad to see my Ags finally snag a win over LSU since we joined the SEC!
Big college ball fan... Not so much pro football any more; and not (just) because of the national anthem buffoonery. These kids are hungry and are working damn hard to get to the next level.
Great show Saturday night and glad we get the SEC channel despite my son not attending A&M like we thought he would...he picked Tech (wreck ‘em!) and loves it there. And I guess they’ll need to go shopping somewhere for a new head coach (probably not A&M again though), now that they canned Cliff Kingsbury. That guy did/does have an eye for QB talent though...
But that’s a whole ‘nother thread!
Think this game had to be the worst officiated game I've ever seen, college or pro. Not a fan of either team but I guess the only play in the history of football that doesn't take any time off the clock is snapping and spiking the ball?
The ref throwing a block against an LSU defender in OT was pretty glaring as was an un-catchable PI call (also against LSU).
