It's definitely not the wheels, as said earlier in the thread we balanced just the wheels at one point- they were perfect.

What I am hinting at is totally irrelevant of how the wheels balance on a machine. You might to considering trying it for $100 and an hour of your time, but it may not be your problem.

Are you talking the hub centric part of the equation?

Thank you.

Now does anyone know if a 2025 Raptor is 87.1 or 86.8? I can always pull a wheel and measure, however if someone has already done that...

An easier way might be to check and see if they changed hub part #s — though I haven’t heard anything about that.

I just measured the internal hub mating surface of a 2024-2026 802a wheel and it came back 86.8mm on the dot. I also measured my Method 813 wheel and it came back to 87.1 exactly. Just for informational purposes.

I used a telescoping bore gauge and a set of digital calipers.

Great data, thank you. Not sure why Ford published it as 87.1mm - had messed with the whole aftermarket.

Welcome! So, I bought some 0.2mm stainless steel shim stock from McMaster and shimmed the two front wheels, not the rears yet. I don’t know what to think honestly. It feels better, I think? Different, yes, as subtle as it is. I’m super sensitive to any kind of shake/shimmy in the steering wheel. Been fighting this for over a year. Tomorrow I have to drive to LA so it should give me some time in the seat.

Indeed, when aftermarket wheel companies say their wheels are hub-centric, they aren’t when they don’t measure 86.8mm.
