i have run 37s with slight fender mods and upper arms.....IMO 37s are the only way to go.....I have had long discussions with big FORD people and they all agree that 37s should have been the stock tire.

BFG Projects i just sold with 37s.

Right now i have 37 AT on it. Waiting on signature for a deal on a project we are working on...We will run Toyos 37s once inked.

I keep hearing about these slight fender mods. What exactly did you do to modify you're fenders?

Bigger tires generally mean more surface contact. Hence, more traction.

Wider would provide more surface area, not taller.

Aside from looking more aggressive, I think there are more negatives than positives.

1) Speedo is now not accurate.
2) Our already ****** gas milege is now even worse
3) Firewall and suspension mods required
3) More weight

They do look good, I admit that!

Zactly, those are all the things i see with going to 37s. Just curious to know the good reasons, besides looking badass!

Taller but same width... More contact. Taller but narrower... Possibly more or the same contact or less depending on width.

Also, more ground clearance. Should I go into detail about taller?

IMO, that wopping 1" of increased ground clearance does not offset the negatives that come with it.

Still waiting for "real" advantages.....
