So… I know there are some other threads, and I’ve read them. But I have not been able to get anything definitive and a few of the threads for hijacked and went off in other directions.

I have a 23’ 35” raptor. I am leveling it next week with RPG collars so clearance won’t be an issue.

Can I fit a 37” spare on this truck? I’ve read about the ratchet strap method, but would like to speak with someone directly who has accomplished it successfully.

Please, someone who has actually done it can you chime in and maybe even attach a couple pics. I don’t want to invest in tires and wheel until I know 100 percent it can be done!

Thank you !!

100% can be done with 37 KO2. Many have done it. The ratchet strap is used to keep it away from the cross member/ panhard bar with off-roading. I’m fine with mine for daily driving but when off roading it goes in the bed.

Solid, so a toyo open country MT 37“ would prob not fit? The ko2 37 is on the small side I believe ?

Yes. That would be my understanding. The 37 KO2 is small- 36.5” or so. I believe the Toyos run truer to size.

Finally got around to mounting my ko2 37 spare… zero issues, just cheat it back away from panhard bar when you crank the spare up as stated. I put a ratchet strap across it , zero reason to from what I see, but just to be safe.

Good to know. Just FYI Gen 1 They (37s) fit easy also. I would suspect Gen 2 they will also.
