Tire size, need some help

It's time for the order and am a bit confused on the size of the stockers. They are 315/70 R17's. So are they 35's? I have a good deal on some General's, just need to make sure I order the correct size (closest to stock). I don't want any rubbing issues down the road. And the stock rim is 9.5" from my understanding. What size guys, help me out.

Where are you ordering the tires from? How much are they setting you back?

I have a friend who can get them for me, can't really say where. I'm gonna pay around 220 each which from my research is a pretty good deal.

General Grabber, although a great tire in looks and reviews:

13 lbs. more per tire over stock
Q speed rating vs. R on stock (or S)
594 revs/mile vs. 601 on stock

Added unsprung weight at each corner, lower speed rating (don't know if it really matters to some), and less revs/mile which will throw off the speedo though I don't know by how much (could be negligible).

I want the Grabbers just because the lettering will match my truck. :)

You're right, of course, but people seem to care more about looks than performance.

Last thing I'm worried about is looks, I'm more worried about them chunking like these BFG's did. Mine have chunked all the way down to the steel belts.
