I personally had a pretty bad experience with RPG on a rear bumper I ordered, same story as someone wrote above… they were moving “locations” and that impacted their ability to build, powder coat the bumper… bumper was well wrapped in shipping but when I unpacked it the powder coat job was terrible. This was on top of almost a 3-4 month lead time.

I had to go in and spray several areas myself and it still got a little surface rust on the seams.

The SDI top hats work pretty good to level the truck if you’re just driving around town. If you’re going to really beat on the truck I’d recommend going Foutz or another that uses a true FK heim vs the rubber bushing that comes in the SDI top hats.

Just after 1 day of beating on the truck Offroad at TRR and my SDI top hats were blown out. Replaced with Fox 3.2s.

I’d recommend hitting up TSP performance to help with ordering, they provide a customer service layer and discounts sometimes. Helps when you need quick answers/updates.

Following up the discussion about top hats and/or collars...

Top hats won't change the ride, but for those who tested the spring collars, did you feel a stiffer ride ? These trucks have fairly soft suspensions and a little more preload/stiffness could be a good thing when going offroad...?

Adding enough preload to provide 1” or more of lift is a ton of preload. It will ride like shit and the added preload with cause the shocks to top out very harshly when your suspension extends on down travel. It will slam down and wreck havoc on your shocks and OEM top hat bushings. Seen many failures as a result of aftermarket springs and preload collars.
