Hey everyone,

Enjoying my new 21 Raptor but noticed the fuel range or miles to empty only went to 415 with full tank…yes, I checked to confirm full tank of gas …gauge indicates full tank.

Is it just the first tank of gas needs to be used to get accurate estimate of 500 plus miles?
Cheers
I'm 2 tanks in averaging ~560 miles, I think the computer is calculating based on recent usage?

Should be a touch less than the '19 if you're coming off of that truck, the tires knock off about 1-2 mpg

Honestly...

With my G2, I have seen high 300s if I drive like a complete dik for a week. Then I saw 620MPT on the way to Kure Beach NC from Baltimore MD driving 73mph.

And you have those big *** tires...

Thank you—I’m still on the first tank and my driving has been very relaxed(no heavy foot) during the first 700 miles …I was getting 16-17 on my 2018 with 35s —Have a good one and enjoy your ride !

Yea I was just trying to calculate out Gas stations and range for some of my trips once I get my 22. Baja gas stations are often far apart and sometimes even closed. I was really hoping for a ton of extended range with this vehicle and the 36 gallon tank, but it appears I'll plan on around 500 per tank.

Appreciate the info. Can't wait for it.

3 tanks so far on my 37, average mpg for each fill-up was 15.3 mpg, I reset trip 1 each time. that's a mix of freeway and in town. It usually says 575 or so DTE when ful.
I’d love to get that on my 37. That would mean one fill up a month!

Definitely based on recent use. When I pull a trailer I fill up and will say like 460-480 DTE, but standard mixed driving and not pulling my Gen2 usually says 550-560 DTE.

Check it with old school math. I usually do this a few times with new vehicles to see how accurate the computer is. Some have been way off.

My 2017 F 250 had the incorrect tank installed in production. Warranty replaced 27 gallon tank to 36.
It can happen on a Raptor as well!
