2021 Ford Raptor gen3 retrax pro xr fitment question

Hey Everybody,

I had a retrax pro xr installed on my 2021 Raptor. Can anyone confirm if the front on the tonneau cover (nearest truck cab) should have this much space left …it seems like the bed cover should be longer and not leave any exposed painted area so that the rubber flange can prevent water intrusion.
