2020 Sync 3 Update

Why, if I may ask are you loading the laterst 3.3 build and then loading the 3.4 version.
Won’t just downloading the 3.4 ver cover it all anyway?
Your thoughts.

Also wondering if you can go back to 3.3 after already loading 3.4.
What would happen.... would it work if someone tried this?

I had done the current 3.3 upgrade thinking that would prompt the 3.4 availability. Not realizing 3.4 isn’t officially released for my year (2019).

So after reading the ease of upgrading to 3.4 I said what the hell and gave it a shot. It worked, knock on wood.

It’s odd that a 2018 would be limited to v3.0?

Yeah when i go to the owner.ford or whatever 3.0 is what it gives me for my 2018.... not sure if I can force a 3.3 or what somehow if I find files

Go to settings. Then general settings. Then about sync

I have a 2018. Get two blank USB drives (16 gb or more) and follow the instructions here:

I can say that it worked for me. The whole process took around 35 minutes.

I’m not sure. If you able to upgrade to 3.0, I can’t see why it wouldn’t upgrade to 3.4. But proceed at your own risk.

Its sync 3 just the v2.4
