I'm experiencing an inordinate amount of rear suspension "jumping" and the vehicle seems unstable while traveling at speed on dry pavement over any bumps in the road. The truck seems to want to kick out into the adjacent lane when going over bumps, especially the rear. My 2014 was much more stable on dry pavement over any bumps. Is this normal with the new shock set up for 2019, or is something wrong? I had expected the new shocks to perform much better than the ones on my '14, but I have lost confidence in high speed situations that I once had with my Gen 1.
    Can this be corrected?

Check your tire pressure. Lower to 34 and try it then.

I run my tires at 38psi and I have that damn axle wrap when going over small potholes or bumps. Damn near did a power slide near O’Hare on an off ramp because the backend kicked out so much.

+3 Deavers are my next upgrade.

Know the feeling well in the short time I've owned my truck. Its scary at times when the truck feels like its going sideways into the next lane. Will the Deavers take care of this problem?

    As I understand it, yes.

The deavers and Icons for that matter are more progressive than the stock leafs.

Try 32 to 34 PSI, there is a difference. Cheaper than new springs.

My 018 does this if going over bumps where pavement has buckled..my Toyota tacoma did too with 31's
I just live with it, I dont hit pavement areas like that often

Instructors at Raptor assault asked the group "how many of you have the rear end kick out on bumps in normal everyday driving?". The majority of the class answered back w/ resounding yes and then they simply said, your PSI is too high in the rear.

We had a good discussion on tire psi. Here's my notes from the class:
-Raptors ship from factory at 48psi and should be aired down by the dealership upon delivery (which never happens)
-Ford procedure document state 36psi all around
-The instructors prefer 38f and 34r psi for normal driving
-Ford engineers prefer 34f/28r psi for off road driving WITH highway driving
-Ford engineers prefer 28f/22r psi for pure off road driving (no highway at all)

Same boat. When I checked my tire pressure they were at 48 from the dealer. I tried 34 and now 30. Def better but I still get that feeling from time to time. I am wondering if its the tires? I had Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs on my Tacoma (285 70/17) with an Icon suspension and never had this issue/feeling.
